Product Review: Add Directory Easy

Getting your website listed in online directories is an essential part of internet marketing. Not online do you get advertising space on high-traffic information websites, but you can get high quality links back to your own website. High quality links show the search engines that your site is important to others, which helps boost your rank in the search engine listings.

Submitting your site to directories, however, can be a daunting task. There are so many internet directories to choose from - which ones are worth submitting to? And do you actually have the time to submit to all of them? Submissions take time, and time is money, so you don't want to waste it.

One solution is a directory submitter, a software or online tool that does many submissions for you. Usually, these submitters charge a fee for the time you save, which can be well worth it - but then again - are these submitters listing your website with quality directories? Ones that get traffic, are well organized and can send you targeted visitors? Sometimes it's hard to tell.

I recently came across a directory submitter from a reputable company that actually listed the directories that it submits your website to, right on it's site. You can check these directories out for yourself, so I did. I noticed that most of them (100!) had a Google PR rank of 3, which is not bad at all for a submission tool.

From my experience on the web, I know that it would take me months of research to actually find 100 directories with a PR 3, let alone submit my site to them, so I took the chance and submit my blog. Oh, and did I mention that the cost was less than $30? I can't really say I took a "chance" at that price, it's a steal.

After a few days, I noticed my traffic increasing on my blog. Not bad for 5 minutes worth of effort. What a great tool! I love it when I find a good deal!
